Coffee and doughnuts will be served followed by the service at 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. The building will remain open for fellowship and the viewing of the historical displays, including a Friendship Quilt containing almost 400 names of members and friends, sewn in the early 1930s. Chicken dinner Sunday, May 16, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the fire station, 9 West 1st St. Dinners (1/4 fried chicken $10; 1/2 fried chicken $15; children 10 and younger $5) will include potato wedges, baked beans, slaw and a drink.
