Special service. Founded on Sept. 23, 1951, the church still stands near the intersection of state roads 135 and 64 serving its community with the message of hope. One of the original members, Clara Royalty Sullivan, who still attends, is slated to speak, as is former pastor Michael MaHone. Current pastor Jeff Hurtgen and senior pastor Mitar Rudanovic will share the church’s vision and purpose. A dessert reception will follow the service.
